Van Moer Logistics is a growing logistics service provider active in road and intermodal transport, distribution, goods storage and tank container logistics.

To support our growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader for our site in Ghent.

Your role

For our brand new warehouse in Ghent we are looking for motivated Team Leaders. As a Team Leader you are responsible for managing, following up, efficiently planning and delegating the work in the warehouse.

• You act as a mentor and coach for a team of about 10 Operators and know how to bring out the best in them.
• You communicate the work instructions in a clear and unambiguous way and ensure that they are known and followed.
• You ensure correct compliance with the regulations on safety, health, order and cleanliness. You are also responsible for stock counts, quality checks and communication with various departments.
• You actively think about improvement proposals and discuss your findings with your manager.
• You report to the Supervisor and replace the Supervisor in case of absence.

What profile are we looking for

• You have managerial skills and you are aware that you are setting an example. Cooperation is of paramount importance to you.
• You are an enthusiastic employee with an eye for results and a flexible attitude.
• You communicate fluently and professionally in English and knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• You are in possession of an experience certificate for driving a forklift truck and you can easily handle the current computer applications (MS office, WMS).
